WELCOME to the Institute of the Arts!

Located near Reading in Wyomissing, PA, the Institute of the Arts has served Berks County and the community for over 70 years. We provide both onsite and outreach arts programs in Theater, Visual Arts, Music, Dance & Yoga for children, teens and adults. We also offer several Theater Performances annually and an arts-integrated licensed Preschool and Kindergarten.

The Institute of the Arts remains a pillar in the artistic and educational community of Berks County, maintaining partnerships with multiple community organizations, providing scholarships, outreach services and the Neighborhood Bridges program for pre-k through high school age students.
