Phyllis Moser

works as a painter, mixed media artist and calligrapher. As director of Visual Arts for the Institute she oversees program design and development.  She holds a BS in Art Education from KutztownUniversity. Her work can be found in private and institutional collections across the country, including the PostalMuseum of the Smithsonian.

Elise Sheridan Arnold

holds a BA, GoddardCollege, Post-Graduate Ceramics Diploma, Goldsmith’s College, University of London. She also studied at MorleyCollege (London), New YorkStudioSchool (Paris), Tyler (Philadelphia). She has exhibited widely in the US and England . Elise lives in Philadelphia where she not only teaches and makes art, but also enthusiastically, teaches and enjoys horse riding, and yoga.




Christina Bacon

 
graduated from Kutztown University 2002 with a BS in Art Education.  She taught art to middle school students for three years in Coolidge, Arizona.  Recently, Christina completed a Master’s degree in Art Therapy at Drexel University.




Bruce Becker

studied at Framingham State College, Colorado Institute of the Arts and William Woodward Studios. Mr. Becker has had exhibitions and museum acquisitions throughout the United States, London and Paris. The NY Times Art Critic acclaimed; “…comparable to the Old Masters, wonderful colorist and deserving of attention.” Mr. Becker is also a published author and accomplished public speaker. http://www.beckerartist.com/



Jodi L. Bossler

holds a BFA in photography and Art Education Certificate from Kutztown University. Her current focus is on elementary art education. Jodi has been teaching with the Institute for four years specializing in Art Exploration and Clay Exploration classes.



Tammy Updegrove Braunsberg

is a designer/painter specializing in murals, set design, decorative paint finishes and the drawing and painting of animals. She has studied at Anvil Art Studio and KutztownUniversity and is an experienced instructor of children and adults.  At the Institute she teaches children’s classes and outreach programs.



Amanda Condict

is an accomplished illustrator and painter and graphic designer. She teaches fashion illustration at AlbrightCollege and is the owner of Condict & Co. http://www.condictandco.com/. We are pleased to welcome her to our faculty.   



Jenni Destefano

holds a BS in Art Education from Kutztown University and is certified to teach Art K-12. She taught elementary art in Wilmington, DE and now is excited to be part of the Institute faculty.



Angelo DiMaria

studied formally with George Nicols at the Institute of the Arts. He is essentially self-taught, having developed his own techniques for casting and for making molds. His work can be found in private collections throughout Pennsylvania.



Paul Flickinger

studied with Jack Coggins and Judith Kreiger of the Institute of the Arts. He also studied with Patrick Arnold, James Lloyd, Jill Rupinski and Joseph Sweeney of the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts in Philadelphia. He has been a faculty member at the Institute for eight years.



Barton henderson

holds a BFA in Architecture from Camegie Mellon University; has studied with the Barnes Foundation and at the Fleisher Memotial in Philadelphia under Filomena Dellaripa. He has exhibited and taught extensively in the region. In addition, he currently does courtoom sketching for WFMZ and CNN.

Rich Houck

holds a BFA in Painting from the University of the Arts and Certification in Art Education K-12. He has over 15 years of teaching experience. Rich Houck is an artist at the Goggleworks and can be found in studio 312. http://www.richhouck.com

 

Lynn Millar
has beenpainting professionally in watercolor for over 30 years. She also works in acrylics and casein. Her work has been included in The Annual Pennsylvania Watercolor Society show, Baltimore Watercolor Society show, the Philadelphia Water Color Society show, juried shows at the Goggleworks, Banana Factory and Ambre Studio (Bethlehem).  Her work can be found on http://www.fineartamerica.com

 


Sandra Nestlerode-Hale

is an artist with formal training in drawing, watercolour and composition from WedgwoodMemorialCollege in Barlston, England.  Her education includes a Master of Philosophy from KeeleUniversity, Keele, England in Medieval Language, Literature, and Art.  She is an artist and poet working to unite these areas of interest by creating “Altered Books” and Art Books.



Shannon Pichler

holds a BS in Art Education from PennStateUniversity and received her K-12 teaching certification from KutztownUniversity.  She has been teaching at the Institute for ten years and has served as an assistant to the education curator of the ReadingPublicMuseum.


 

Peggy Reisch

holds a B.S. in Art Education from KutztownUniversity with graduate work in drawing, weaving and education. She has 25 years of teaching experience. Exhibition credits include ImmaculataCollege and Yellow Springs Art Show and her work can be found in regional galleries.


LeAnne Wolf
 
designs and handcrafts contemporary jewelry. She is an expert in beading, fused glass, and precious metal clay.


Amy Schade

is a graduate of West Virginia University with a BFA in Graphic Design, emphasis in Photography and Visual Communications. She offers adult instruction,

Art : Search & Self Discovery for Twin Valley Community Education Foundation, and has exhibited in several juried shows. Member Berks Art Alliance.
